What is the FDIC insurance limit for my accounts?

Your deposits at Carroll Community Bank are now fully insured up to $250,000 by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and are therefore backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

FDIC Insures Your Deposit Up To $250,000

As of January 1, 2013, section 343 of the Dodd-Frank Act will expire. All transaction accounts, whether they pay interest or not, will be insured up to the standard maximum deposit insurance amount, which currently is $250,000.  The FDIC insurance coverage limit applies per depositor, per insured depository institution for each account ownership category.
